A Great Day Out For The Whole Family.

Events include: The Sheep Show, Pig Racing, Display of Vintage Machinery, Grand Parade of Champion Livestock, Punch & Judy, Juggling Jake, Ferret Racing, Carriage Driving, Horticultural Show, Companion Dog Show, Locally Produced Foods & Catering Stands, Poultry Show, Bees and Honey Show, 150 Trade Stands, Parade of Hounds, Beagles and Bloodhounds, Craft Tent, Heavy Horse Classes, Birds of Prey and much, much more.

Free parking / 9am – 6pm

Adults £15.00, Seniors £13.00, Children 11-16 £5.00
Children under 11 FREE when accompanied by a paying adult



Outdoor Theatre – Comedy of Errors at Hinton Ampner 9th September

Bring a picnic and settle in for the evening to watch some classic Shakespeare as the sun sets at Hinton Ampner.

Suitable for early teens and older

Park in the normal car park and follow the route to the parkland where the performance will take place

Dress for the weather. Cancellation only in the event of hurricane when performance will be rescheduled. Tickets are non-refundable

There will be limited wheelchair access to the performance area. The theatre will be in the parkland which is uneven. Off road wheelchairs should be fine.

Unfortunately we cannot take group bookings for this event.

Starts: 7pm – 9.30pm / Adults £16, Child £8

Gates will open 1 hour before the performance to allow you time to set up and start your picnic.

Winchester Oktoberfest 15th September

The finest in Bavarian tradition returns to Winchester this year bringing premium German beer served to your table in Steins, the most authentic of German street food readily available, all whilst being entertained by the most incredible of bands, ‘Oompah Brass’.

Open Weekend at the Theatre Royal 16th to 17th September


An Open Weekend at the theatre hosted by the Chief Exec Deryck Newland, and also 6 performances of Austen Undone from Natural Theatre to link into the 200 Jane Austen anniversary. More details later.

Hampshire Harvest Festival 30th September to 1st October

Harvest Festival

A fun-packed family event celebrating the County’s food and farming. Join us for live music, children’s have-a-go activities, vintage tractors, falconry displays, farm animals, horse-drawn wagon rides, Hampshire Fare market, local beers and ciders and, new for this year, an afternoon tea tent offering wonderful cakes, scones, tea and even a glass of fizz.

A special Evensong service celebrating harvest will take place in the Cathedral at 3.30pm on Sunday afternoon, all are welcome and full details will be available in the coming months.

This is a free event all are welcome.

The event runs from 10.00am until 5.00pm on both days.
